Rev. Lehman's Sermon Description Building Bridges The most expedient way for human beings to overcome barriers, cross boundaries or heal divisions when there is discord in our lives is to build bridges, actual or metaphorical. Let us engage not in building walls, but in creating harmony, peace and justice by “Answering the Call of Love.”
Charlotte Lehmann Bio, M.S., M.Div., is currently serving the Unitarian Universalist Church of Tallahassee as their Interim Minister; she is a life-long UU, who has called the Midwest, New England, Mid-Atlantic, and now the Southeast home. She enjoys travelling and has also spent significant amounts of time in the other two geographic regions of the U.S., as well as overseas. She is curious about cultures other than the one is which she was raised and is committed to social and environmental justice movements. Charlotte bases her life and work in the theology and practice of Unitarian Universalism, including its second principle: the affirmation and promotion of “justice, equity, and compassion in human relations.” Charlotte will be ordained as a UU minister by the First Universalist Church in Auburn, Maine on October 28th.
