Our culture tends to pressure us intensely to be in a cheerful and excited mood throughout the holiday season. Yet the traditional Christmas stories and many carols carry a more serious tone, suggesting that along with joy and light the deeper meaning of the holiday includes a challenge. Rev. Kathy and Service Leader Amanda Piburn reflect on the joy and challenge of the season. And the service includes a chance to request your favorite carols for us to sing.
