Just as important as the meal itself is the preparation and cleanup. Please commit to lending a helping hand for setup and takedown of tables and general cleanup. It’s a great way for folks who “just ain’t cooks” a way to contribute in a massive way.
To reduce kitchen crew labor time, please consider planning to bring your scraped-clean dish back to wash at home. This ensures our kitchen crew isn’t stuck washing all day! I plan to wrap my crockpot in my “big old holey” ancient beach towel for the ride home.
