“Going to Goodwill?” Most of us have a box, a bag or a pile somewhere of things we plan to donate to Goodwill. You can again support one of our UUFEC Social Justice Projects by requesting that your donation be credited to Shelter House or Opportunity Place. Both of these non profits have a voucher program with Goodwill in Fort Walton Beach. You still get the tax write off receipt, but the shelter will get “Goodwill bucks” for their outgoing residents to use to help them start their new household. Double your pleasure, double your fun (oops, wrong jingle)…
